This expedition, led by Custer in the summer of 1874, was the one which discovered gold in in the Black Hills. You can find a first edition of this book online in various degrees of condition – but no presentation bound copies, especially one that is inscribed by the author, are available. No presentation copies recorded at auction in the last 40 years.
