Oblong 4to marbled paper boards with original label on upper board (boards showing light wear), map is segmented and laid on original linen, map measures 37½ x 34¾ inches, some light foxing and browning.
A famous Civil War rarity, and one of the most important Civil War maps produced – as Arkway Maps notes, “As a testimony to the map’s importance, it is reproduced in some
